Two New Certificates Offered by Computational Finance and Risk Management: Quantitative Fundamentals & Actuarial Science

The Computational Finance and Risk Management program of the Department of Applied Mathematics is offering two new certificates to begin this summer. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share with your students as appropriate! Flyers are attached.

~Quantitative Fundamentals of Computational Finance Certificate, 11 credits, completed over Summer 2013. Registration through MyUW or Professional & Continuing Education (PCE).

~Actuarial Science Certificate, 19-21 credits, completed Summer 2013 – Summer 2014. Registration through PCE.

See “Program Events” on the right side of the QFCF webpage to register for an upcoming info session on this certificate, which are scheduled for April 24th at 12pm and May 22nd at 5pm (PDT).

If you are interested in learning more about Actuarial Science, please register for an info session (see “Program Events” on the right side of the website). The sessions are scheduled to occur on April 30th at 12pm and May 8th at 5pm (PDT).
