We address some questions common in the fields of Religion Studies, Women Studies, Ethnic Studies, Sociology, and other interdisciplinary fields such as; How does and have diverse women influenced religion and spirituality? How does women’s involvement in religion affect religious traditions? Can women’s use of religion or spirituality be empowering? We will also discuss social justice issues to help address these questions. Through discussions, activities, films, trips, and other interactive activities, you will get a chance to contribute to this class and learn from one another!
