The Youth & Family Empowerment Division of the Human Service Department is looking for individuals to tutor 9th-12th graders in Math, Science, English and Spanish. The tutors focus will be on helping students facing educational barriers to progress through the academic pipeline, so that they can succeed in high school and beyond. This is an opportunity to build leadership skills and gain experience in working with diverse youth from underserved communities.
Tutor 9th-12th grade students in Math, Science, English or Spanish
Facilitate workshops focused on study preparation, testing, academic skill-building and employment
Junior or Senior in College or graduate with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree
Individuals will work up to 12 hours/week and must be available Mon (2-5:30pm), Tues-Thurs (2:30-5:30pm)
