The Career Center’s Non-profit and Government Fair Needs Volunteers Please!

Happy fall quarter and October!! The Career Center is in need of volunteers for the upcoming 2013 Non-profit & Government Career Fair on 10/21/13 from 1-5pm in the HUB ballroom. Shifts will be available from 8:00am-6:00pm, with a minimum time commitment of 2 hours.

Why volunteer?

  • Volunteer at the Career Fairs is the best way to network and to connect with an employer. As a volunteer, you’ll have unparalleled access with the employers in attendance-and they’re all hiring and/or have internship opportunities!
  • If you need to fulfill volunteer hour requirements, look no further! Complete your hours with flexible shifts at this high-energy event.
  • Interested in Event Planning? As a volunteer, you’ll work closely with the UW Career Center’s Events Team to put on our Career Fairs and learn the ins and outs… then put it on your resume!

By the week of 10/14/13, I’ll have our Volunteer Coordinator (Alexis Sullivan) be in touch with you  to confirm your schedule and shift assignments.
