Interested in Learning More About Research in Global Health? Want to Network with Faculty?

Dear Undergraduates,

Are you interested in learning more about research in global health? Are you looking for opportunities to network with faculty on campus?

If so, please join us for our first Global Health Discussion Circle of the academic year. This event is an opportunity for a small group of students to come together and discuss a current, relevant article on a global health topic. Each journal club event will be co-facilitated by an undergraduate student and a faculty member.

This first event will be held on Wednesday, November 6th from 3:30-4:30pm in HUB 214.

We will discuss the article “Designing Tomorrow’s Vaccines” by Gary J. Nabel M.D., Ph.D. in the New England Journal of Medicine. You can access the article here:

The article discussion will be co-facilitated by Dr. Jeff Harris and undergraduate Jared Houghtaling.

All students attending the session will be expected to have read the attached article thoughtfully.
