DID YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING HISTORY TEACHER IN HIGH SCHOOL?
The Department of History seeks nominations for the 2014 Pressly Prize. This prize, named for U.W. emeritus professor of History Thomas Pressly and his wife, Cameron, recognizes outstanding teaching at the secondary level in the state of Washington. The Department relies entirely on nominations from students to bring worthy candidates to our attention. You need not be a History major to nominate someone. This is a great way to recognize some of the amazing high school history teachers we have in Washington State. The best nominations are thoughtful, well-written, and detail just how much time and energy these high school teachers devoted to their students.
