Presenters include:

Prof. Matthew Barreto, Immigration Policy in America

Prof. Jamie Mayerfeld, Guantanamo: Preventive Detention in Theory and Practice

Prof. Rebecca Thorpe, The Politics of Crime and Punishment in America

Requirements: Students read about the topic in advance of each lecture and take a short quiz. Following each lecture, there is a question and answer session with the presenter. Over the course of the quarter, students also choose three of the presented topics and write a five-page essay on each.

Let’s get this conversation started!
