We’re recruiting for an AmeriCorps member for 2014-2015 as Volunteer Coordinator/Fall Prevention Lead for the PNA Village, a program that supports people who want to stay in our community as they age.
We are accepting applications now for 16 full-time AmeriCorps positions serving low income, immigrant and children, youth and families in Seattle and South King County, from 9/1/14 to 7/15/15.
Our 2014-15 Neighborhood House AmeriCorps placements include:
- 8 positions in early childhood education at High Point, New Holly, Rainier Vista and Yesler Terrace Head Start
- 6 positions in K-12 afterschool tutoring and project based learning at Burndale Homes and Firwood Circle (Auburn) and Seola Gardens (White Center)
- 2 positions providing service learning, leadership development, college readiness and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) programming to middle and high school aged youth at High Point
