The Dream.US Scholarship Program
Effective for the Fall 2014 semester, the University has embarked upon a new initiative in which it has become a partner institution with The Dream.US Scholarship Program to assist undocumented students in obtaining scholarships. The Dream.US Scholarship Program provides college scholarships to highly motivated students who entered the United States as minors under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or
Temporary Protect Status (TPS), and who, without financial assistance, cannot afford a college education. All funding is provided by private donations to The Dream. US organization.
The Fall 2014 application period will offer the following scholarship opportunities:
o First-time college students (with no more than 12 college credits) with a high-school gpa of 2.5 or higher;
o Community college graduates with a gpa of 3.0 or higher;
The scholarships will cover a maximum of $12,500 for an associate’s degree and $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
Currently enrolled students who meet the above criteria have been contacted directly. We will be reaching out to all prospective students, as well. The application deadline is October 26, 2014.
