Next week, Caitlin Goldbaum from the Career and Internship Center, will be hosting a workshop designed to help you create resumes and cover letters that capture your unique narrative.
“Resumes and cover letters are persuasive documents used to convince an employer that you are the best candidate for an opportunity. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll discuss strategies for tailoring your materials, telling stories about your past experiences, and highlighting your strengths to ensure you stand out!”
The workshop will be held Friday, 02 November, 3:30-4:30 in SAV 409. Space is limited and priority will be given to sociology seniors who are planning to apply for one of the Department’s 2-quarter internships. First come, first served.
Sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and put Resumes and Cover Letters workshop in the subject heading. Please bring a hard copy of your resume to the workshop. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, 31 October at 4pm.
