Welcome to a shortened Week 5, thanks to Seattle’s inability to handle just a couple of inches of snow. Whether you got some work done, spend the day playing in the snow, or wrapped yourself in a blanket and binge-watched Netflix, we hope you stayed safe, kept yourself warm, and enjoyed an extra 2 days off!
Here’s what we’d like to bring to your attention this week
- Advising Office Appointments. Naturally, our schedules have been thrown into chaos with the snow days. If you had an appointment and have not yet rescheduled, please do so ASAP. If you need to schedule an appointment, please be patient as we work with you to find a time to meet.
- Small Group Career Coaching – Networking. This afternoon, Caitlin Goldbaum will be leading a small group career coaching session about networking for people who hate networking. If you’re interested in attending, make sure to register first!
- Study Abroad Information Session – Spain, Early Fall. There’s an info session tomorrow, Thursday 07 Feb, 11:30am-12:30pm in Savery 245. We have rescheduled the first one to be next Monday 11 Feb 3-4pm in Savery 245. Please see last week’s blog post for more information.
- Sociology Honors Information Session. Also tomorrow, we will be holding an information session for all students interested in learning more about the Sociology Honors Program. The info session will take place from 2:00pm-3:00pm in 409 Savery Hall. Please see last week’s blog post for more information.
That’s all for now. Stay warm, my friends – forecast calls for more freezing temps and a possible return of snow this weekend!
