S.E.E.D. Scholarship 2019 – Support for Undocumented Students

The S.E.E.D Scholarship aims to positively acknowledge the contributions of undocumented students enrolled at the University of Washington. This award recognizes UW students for their academic excellence, involvement in the community and demonstrated leadership.

The recipient will receive a one-time award, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, which will be dispensed in the 2019-2020 academic year. The award is made available through generous contributions to La Raza Student Commission and its constituents. More information about the scholarship can be found here.

Deadline: if you would like to apply, complete the application and submit your materials by Friday, 08 March 2019 at 11:59pm.

Scholarship Eligibility and Requirements:

Open to all undocumented students who will be enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at UW during the 2019-2020 academic year. Students at all three UW campuses (Seattle, Bothell, Tacoma) are eligible to apply.
*Student demonstrates leadership in school activities, community service and/or work experience
*Student demonstrates financial need
*Student demonstrates academic potential
*Student must be available to attend and give speech at the DREAM Banquet on April 06, 2019.
