Despite the forecasts to the contrary this weekend, I hope everyone had the chance to enjoy some of the sunshine!
We are now halfway done with Spring Quarter, shocking though that statement may be to read (I know I struggled to type it). As always, here’s a few things you should keep in minds as we begin the second half of the quarter:
- (Final) Exam Prep and Test Anxiety – 01 May. This week is the last Study Skills Workshop hosted by Academic Support Services , and the workshop will address techniques to prepare for and take exams that will help you manage your anxiety and stress levels.
- Get Ready for Grad School Application Season. Last week, we posted about a special series of workshops the Office of Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards will be offering to help you prepare to apply to graduate school. This week’s workshops will cover personal statement writing (Today, 4:30pm, MGH171) and recommendation letters (Thursday, 4:30pm, MGH171).
- Small-Group Career Coaching. Our A&S Career Coach Specialist Caitlin Goldbaum will be leading 2 small-group career coaching sessions this week. Wednesday’s session will cover networking for people who hate to network (3:30pm-4:15pm, Gowen M218), and Thursday’s session is about how to talk about yourself when you’re on the job market (3:30pm-4:15pm, Padelford B-11). Don’t miss these great chances to get some much needed advice about your career planning.
