Learn from Graduate Students doing Research

The Undergraduate Research Program in collaboration with GO-MAP, the Graduate Opportunities and Minority Achievement Program, is launching Research Community Connections (RCC). RCC is a series of events that bring together undergraduate students currently doing research for interactive discussions relating to topics relevant to their experience as undergraduate researchers. Our goal is to create a space to build community and connect undergraduates with graduate students, alumni, and retirees of the UW community.

The first topic will be Cultivating Rewarding Professional Relationships and Navigating Challenges in Research Environments. Graduate students will be joining us for the conversation and lunch will be provided.

When: Thursday, November 14, 2019, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Where: Mary Gates Hall, Room 171
RSVP: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScgGrllxiNunuKdn1Rss-U4_H967TUSDjXcybWbiAbVRKlDNQ/viewform

Come join the conversation to ask questions and/or share tips about how you build strong professional relationships within research environments.
